Happy New Year! What an amazing year 2009 was. Lindsay is nearing her final semester at Lubbock Christian University and is awaiting her confirmation to graduate school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Hunter began his Freshman year in high school with a bang. Steve had a tremendous sales year at work and fortunately we were able to purchase Lindsay a Ford Explorer after she had a wreck in her Camry. On a high note Steve has experienced relief from his back pain with recent injections.

We look forward to another great year in 2010.The Parrish family welcomed boy Christian and this year and will welcome a new baby girl in March. Our close friends had their first grandchild Avery. Being surrounded by these new babies reminds me of God's precious gifts that have been granted to our family and friends. What a blessing!

Texas Rangers Fans!

Our weekend trip to Dallas finally arrived. After rooting for the Rangers in Lubbock all season we wanted to see a game up close and live. We managed to squeeze in a weekend trip to the Ranger ballpark (despite everyone's hectic schedules).

It was a great trip with shopping at the Grapevine Outlet mall, eating at our favorite restaurant-the Blue Goose and an exciting Texas Rangers baseball game (with a firework show for a finale).

Lindsay and Hunter had a great time with lots of photo opportunities. Steve and I sat and marveled at how the kids were bonding and how precious these moments are together as a family.

School's Out For Summer!

June and summer has finally arrived...

Lindsay and Hunter couldn't be happier. Lindsay began her new summer job at Kohls (can you say employee discount) and Hunter has been doing yard work for relatives and his dad.

Hunter has baseball camp next week. Super Summer the following week. He flys to Alabama to visit his best friend Fernando and off to Georgia to stay with his Grandparents for another week. Whew! And that's just June and first of July.

I just plan on sleeping in and working around the the house (I'm just now getting around to spring cleaning) and reading a few good books.

Hunter and Steve took a trip over Memorial Day weekend to New Mexico. They went fishing and camping by the river. They claim they caught fish but I didn't see any photos for proof. Lindsay and I had a great girly weekend, we watched chick flicks till midnight, went shopping and ate out every night.

West Texas Parrish Family

Hello from Windy West Texas...

Well the wind blew, and blew and the hail came down (and that was just April). I went out to my car during my lunch break, opened my trunk and nearly gave myself a major concussion. What an adventure!

Hey Batter, Batter....Baseball is in full swing. Hunter's team has been in a bit of a slump but we are enjoying his games nonetheless. I love watching him catch and pitch.

And let the Summer begin. Lindsay is taking her finals this week and hitting the pavement in search of a summer job. Hunter and I will be living the good life in four short weeks.. Poor Steve he has to endure his job year-round.
